E13: Blueprint to Success: Former Bills General Manager and SVP of Player Personnel, XFL: "Are you Ambitious or Driven?"

In this episode, we hear from Doug Whaley, former Bills GM and Current XFL SVP of Player Personnel, about his blueprint to success. 

Went through the difference between the recruiting process when he was going to college and how his parents helped him cultivate his critical thinking skills by letting go of healthy boundaries to lean into the unique process that expedites the maturation process. 

Working his way through the ecosystem as a player after attending PITT as a DB, he had aspirations of getting onto Wall Street. The opportunity came up during an HS football practice during the transition period that got him into the scouting with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He used his transferable skills to climb the executive ranks to Sr level roles within the Pittsburgh Steelers,  General Manager of the Buffalo Bills, and SVP with the XFL 2.0 and 3.0.
